Dear Previous, Current, and Future Clients,

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the broader global climate we are living in. For many people, the intensity and uncertainty of current world events can bring up deep emotional responses such as fear, grief, anger, helplessness, despair, or a profound sense of unease about safety, stability, or the future. Some may notice old wounds being reactivated, a heightened sense of vigilance, difficulty resting, or a heaviness that feels hard to shake. These reactions are understandable, and you are not alone in experiencing them.

I want to gently remind you that therapy remains an emotionally safe, confidential space where all of this can be held with care. There is no expectation to have clarity, solutions, or the “right” words. Sessions are not about minimizing or moving past what is difficult, but about creating room for whatever you are carrying, at your own pace and in whatever way feels most supportive to you.

If you find that these broader circumstances are impacting you and you would like support, you are always welcome to bring that into our work together. And if now does not feel like the right time, that is completely okay as well. There is no pressure to reach out or engage beyond what feels manageable for you.

Please take gentle care of yourselves, and know that support is here whenever you choose to access it.

Warmly,

Dr. Flores
